All-inclusive fine dining on the Indian Pacific / Travel Australia
The Indian Pacific offers a world class fine dining experience on rails with their all-inclusive food and wine. The food onboard the Indian Pacific was definitely one of the highlights of our trip from Adelaide to Sydney with Great Southern Rail. Let’s just say, you don’t take this trip with dieting in mind!
During our time on the train we were given a 2 course lunch, 3 course dinner and 2 course breakfast. They kept feeding us even after we got off the train with another 2 course lunch at the Blue Mountains and more snacks on our final journey from Mount Victoria to Sydney. You’d think that would be enough right? Well they had snacks available between meals if you felt peckish and all you can drink from the bar and barista cafe.
If you want to know more about what it’s like onboard the Indian Pacific then watch our other vlogs linked below.

The Blue Mountains/ Indian Pacific / Travel Australia
Переглядів 3,1 тис.5 років тому
After a good night sleep we switched from the train to a bus and headed to the iconic Blue Mountains just outside of Katoomba for our second off train excursion. We had the choice between a trek through the eucalyptus forest to see waterfalls and walk along rugged cliff edges or visit Scenic World to ride the world’s steepest passenger train and glide over the valley in a glass bottom cable car...

Bike around Perth Australia, best way to tour

This is our first time visiting Perth and we only have 11 hours! We landed at 5.30am after an overnight flight from Kuala Lumpur and have another flight at 4.30pm to Adelaide. Eleven hours is just way too long to spend at the airport so we decided to make the most of the day and head to the city. Since Perth is one of the sunniest cities in the world we decided the best way to explore it would ...

Private boat tours in Thailand
Переглядів 1,2 тис.5 років тому
Today is our last day in Thailand and we decided to spend it doing an island hopping tour. We’re so glad we did this because it ended up being one of our favourite days in Thailand! We had initially planned to just visit one beach and use the share taxi boat to get there, but ended up on a private boat for the day going from one beautiful beach to the next. Island hopping in Thailand is easy

Today we’re leaving the beautiful island of Koh Phangan and we’re heading to another beautiful beach location - Ao Nang. But in order to get there we’re in for a LONG travel day (thankfully we’re getting used to these now!). Before coming to Thailand we had only backpacked through Europe, which seemed a lot less daunting than South East Asia. So, just how easy is it to travel SE Asia on the che...
Hanging out in Koh Phangan

Tropical islands in Thailand - what is it really like to ‘live’ in Koh Phangan? This part of Thailand has a lot of expats living here. We wanted to see what living on a Thai island would really be like, so we rent our own little house and a scooter. Only half way through our time here and we are absolutely loving it! It’s so relaxed here, everyone is really friendly and there’s an abundance of ...
Hiking in tropical storms Thailand

Today we head out to explore some more of Koh Phangan, Thailand. This island really isn’t that big and we’ve hired a scooter for our time here, so there isn’t any excuse for not getting out of the house (and going somewhere besides the beach!). Even though this island is small it is very mountainous, which means there are some amazing waterfalls. After a night of heavy rain we thought it would ...

Maybe it’s not ‘doing something on the gauge”. Instead, it would be more exact if you say replacing wheels. The standard process is to hoist the whole car out of its original wheels, and push away these wheels, and then push in new ones on wide gauge(1524mm). Finally the hoister put down the car. Anyway it’s an amazing video! Thanks for sharing your precious and unforgettable experience! I am a Shanghainese who has travelled in Mongolian by train three times.

You could do it in a day trip, however there is plenty to see along the way so you'd want to allow time to stop and look at things, so leaving early in the day would be best.

As far as we know, as long as you aren't on private property then it's ok, providing you are not too close to houses and keep a low profile etc. Groups of people/cars free camping together might be a different story though.

I just returned from visiting St. Petersburg and Moscow. It was my very first trip to Russia and it was so amazing. I do agree with you regarding the metro and every station is very unique in its own rights. I was using lines 3 and 5. I must say it's marvelous engineering and architecture in my humble opinion. For the first time when I took the escalator deep down to the station, I was so taken by it. So many lines interconnecting and parrel stations from above. Super clean, well maintained, and easy access to any part of the city. Also very safe to walk around any time of day or night. Overall I had a great and positive experience. You have to be there to experience these two awesome cities. I will be visiting soon to explore different cities God willing. Readers may God Bless you and keep you safe.

This scam is wellknown, in your case a woman, I have been approached by a friendly 'travel-guide', also english teacher' asking where I was going, warning that it was closed, of course. I was starting a vacation, I knew about this scam. I met some travel-companiors who would do the same trip as I. So, we already met, and wanted to see the Grand Palace. A 'guide of a travel-agency'approached us on the way. Asking questions. Before I could warn the others he 'called'a 'passing' tuktuk (well, a set-up) and the others jumped into the tuktuk almost immedaitely !!I was like right, but I let them go. Later they told me they bought nice jewelry and some clothes, away about 4 hours, seeing simple temples and several shops. BUT WORSE, In this case I did not notice before, and WAS scammed in Patong-Phuket. They sold it as a city-trip !!!!! I booked a city-trip, the next morning I was oicked up by a van. First going to some nice places, till the shops-part started !!! Honey-shop, cashew-shop, and the 'coffee-break' (without any information) was the biiiiiggest jewelry shop I had eeeever seen, one route, no pictures, busses full of tourists at the entrance. Old town ? Well, seeing pictures of the real old town they were different, another shop, end of tour, back to the hotel...
